What is in the Metabolic gummy

Saffron extract, 90mg

Crocus sativus. The most expensive spice in the world by weight, because each flower yields three stigmas and they are picked by hand. Grown mainly in Iran, Spain, Greece and Kashmir. In supplement form it is used as a standardised extract rather than the culinary threads.

Lemon extract (eriocitrin), 25mg

Eriocitrin is a flavonoid, the main polyphenol found in lemons and limes. It sits in the peel and pulp and is entirely separate from vitamin C, which is the compound lemons are better known for.

Citrus blood orange extract, 200mg

Citrus sinensis, from the Sicilian blood orange varieties Moro and Tarocco. The deep red colour comes from anthocyanins, the same class of plant pigment found in blackcurrants and red cabbage. Ordinary oranges do not contain them.

Why these three

The metabolism supplement aisle runs on a familiar rotation: green tea extract, cayenne, raspberry ketones and garcinia. We went a different way, choosing three botanical extracts and keeping the formula focused. Fewer ingredients, meaningful doses, nothing added simply to make the label look longer.

What we do not claim

This is not a fat burner and we will not sell it as one. No supplement replaces sleep, food and movement, and none of them replicate a prescription medicine.

Format is mostly a question of what you will actually keep taking.

Capsules hold more per unit, which is why clinical trials use them. The trade off is compliance: the supplement you take every day for six months does more for you than the one abandoned after a fortnight. GUUDIES exists because the second scenario is the common one.

One Metabolic gummy a day, taken together with the other five gummies in your mini pouch, with or after food. Each pouch holds 28 daily servings. Designed for consistent daily use as part of your GUUDIES routine.

Format, allergens and suitability

Pectin based, so no gelatine, and vegan. Around 0.3 calories and 0.4g of sugar per gummy, sweetened with tapioca syrup rather than the sugar alcohols common in UK gummies. No synthetic dyes, no artificial sweeteners, no gluten, dairy, nuts, GMOs or fillers. Halal.

Formulated for adults aged 18 and over. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking prescription medication, check with your GP before starting any new supplement. The NHS guidance on vitamins and minerals is a sensible starting point if you are unsure what you actually need.

What does it taste like?

How much sugar is in it?

Around 0.4g per gummy, and roughly 0.3 calories. It uses tapioca syrup rather than sugar alcohols such as maltitol.

Is saffron in a supplement the same as cooking saffron?

Not quite. Culinary saffron is the dried stigma of the crocus flower. Supplements use a standardised extract, which allows a consistent amount per serving rather than the natural variation you get in threads.

What is eriocitrin?

A flavonoid, and the main polyphenol in lemons. It is a separate compound from vitamin C, which is what lemons are usually associated with.

How long before I notice anything?

We do not promise a specific timeframe or an immediate effect. Metabolic is designed to be taken consistently as part of your daily GUUDIES routine.

Can I take it alongside prescription medication?

Check with your GP or pharmacist first. That applies to any new supplement, particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on regular medication.

Is it suitable for under 18s?
