You will find it on its own website and on the shelves of high street retailers such as Holland & Barrett, with a gummy for almost every goal you can think of. If you are searching for a Novomins review, you probably want to know two things: is the brand any good, and is a big range of single gummies the right approach for you? Here is an honest look at both, and at how it compares with the way GUUDIES is put together.

The short answer: Novomins is a credible, well run UK brand. It is a certified B Corporation, says every product is third party tested by Eurofins, and many of its gummies are Vegan Society certified. What Is Novomins?

Novomins is a UK gummy supplement brand with a very broad range. Its website groups products by health goal for women, men and children, and the range runs from everyday nutrients such as vitamin D, vitamin C, vitamin B12, iron, magnesium and biotin, through to multivitamins, collagen, omega 3, fibre, ashwagandha, lion's mane and mushroom gummies, plus a separate kids range.

Most products are single purpose. For example, the Biotin Gummies provide 10,000µg of biotin in one gummy (20,000% NRV), and the Magnesium Gummies provide 180mg of magnesium from magnesium citrate per two gummy serving (48% NRV). Novomins says its products are formulated by its own doctor alongside scientists and nutritionists.

What Is Good About Novomins?

Precision. If you know exactly what you want, Novomins very likely makes it as a stand alone gummy, often with the nutrient form named on the label (magnesium citrate, for example). That suits people who have had a blood test, or been advised by a GP or pharmacist, and want to add one specific thing.

Credentials you can check. Novomins is a certified B Corporation, which is reassessed every three years, and states that each product is third party tested by Eurofins. Those are meaningful signals in a category where quality varies.

Vegan options. Both the Biotin and Magnesium Gummies are listed as Vegan Society certified and use pectin rather than gelatine. If you follow a vegan diet, many single nutrient options are available.

Availability. It is easy to buy, both direct and through major UK retailers, and it offers a subscription option on many products.

What Are the Limitations?

Building a routine takes several tubs. This is the flip side of precision. If you want a multivitamin, magnesium, collagen and a mushroom gummy, that is four products, four sets of directions and four reorder dates. Some people manage this happily. Others find that a cupboard of tubs slowly turns into a cupboard of half finished tubs.

Not every product is vegan. Novomins' Collagen Gummies use marine collagen from fish, and the range also includes an Omega-3 Fish Oil gummy alongside a separate vegan omega product. That is completely normal for those ingredients, but it means you should check the label of each specific gummy rather than assuming the whole range is vegan.

Sugar. The standard gummies we checked list sugar and glucose syrup in their ingredients. Novomins also sells separate versions of some products marketed as containing no sugar, which is worth knowing if sugar is a concern.

High doses are not always necessary. Some single nutrient products are deliberately high strength. Biotin at 20,000% NRV is far above the reference amount. That is a formulation choice many brands make, but if your diet is already reasonable you may not need that much, so it is worth discussing with a pharmacist.

Does Novomins Actually Work?

For what the nutrients are authorised to do, yes, with realistic expectations. In Great Britain the approved claims are specific. For example, magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin. A gummy cannot do more than the nutrient inside it, and if you are not short of that nutrient the visible difference may be modest. As with any supplement, the biggest factor is usually whether you keep taking it day after day.

Novomins vs GUUDIES: How Do They Compare?

The two brands answer different questions. Novomins asks, "which nutrient do you need?" GUUDIES asks, "what would a whole daily routine look like if it fitted in one pouch?"
